The Liverpool Neighbourhood offers many beautiful parks, several schools, Restaurants and a large mix of retailers and offices.  The total area of the neighbourhood is 7.5 square kilometres and is one of Pickering’s largest neighbourhoods.  Liverpool boarders Fairport Road and Appleview Road to the west, north to Pine Creek Valley just north of Finch Avenue and the CP rail line.  Additionally, it goes east by the West Duffins Creek and south to Kingston Road west of Dixie Road and Highway 401.

The neighbourhood has been developed since the 1970s.  Homes in Liverpool are primarily detached and semi-detached homes. Furthermore, townhomes and a retirement residence is also found in the neighbourhood.
