Durham Neighbourhoods
The Durham Region was established in 1974 and is located in the Golden Horseshoe of Southern Ontario. It has an area of approx 2,500 sq km. The southern portion of Durham Region is on Lake Ontario and is primarily a suburban. The northern area is comprised of rural areas and small towns. The Durham Region is comprised of Pickering, Ajax, Whitby, Oshawa, Uxbridge, Scugog and Brock.
