Amerlea is a popular neighbourhood in Pickering. This Amberlea Neighbourhood boarders the Altona Forest to the west, the Hydro corridor and rail line to the north, east of Pine Creek Valley and north of Finch Ave with rear lot lines fronting on Spruce Hill Rd and to the south by the rail line. The total area of Amberlea is 4.31 sq km and includes the east portion of Altona Forest and Parts of the Rouge-Duffins Wildlife Corridor.

The area was developed after the 1970s and primarily consists of detached and semi-detached homes, with the exception of a few townhomes. Living in Amberlea gives you easy access to Highway 401 and a short drive to shopping and Lake Ontario.
